Proposed Tafelsig Cemetery on Portion 60 of CA544, Tafelsig Mitchells Plain

The Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning (DEA&DP) has granted environmental authorisation for the proposed cemetery development in Tafelsig, Mitchells Plain, Cape Town on Portion 60 of Farm CA544 in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 and the 2014 Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations (as amended). 

The environmental authorisation is dated 23 March 2026 and was issued on 23 March 2026.
