Coastal Setback Line for the proposed refurbishment of Strandfontein Pavilion

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF THE DEVELOPMENT SETBACK LINE FOR THE PROPOSED REFURBISHMENT OF STRANDFONTEIN PAVILION

You are hereby notified that the Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning (DEA&DP) has adopted the Development Setback Line for the Proposed Refurbishment of Strandfontein Pavilion on the remainder of Farm 1212, Strandfontein, in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (Act No. 107 of 1998) and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014 (as amended). 

The adoption of the Development Setback Line is dated and was issued on Monday, 14 July 2025.

Appeals

You are reminded that an appeal maybe lodged against this decision in terms of the National Appeal Regulations, 2025 (as amended). A summary of the appeal process is provided in Item 12 (Page 5) of the decision.  Should you wish to appeal the decision, you must submit the appeal in writing to the appeal administrator, the holder of decision and the decision maker within 20 calendar days from the date of this notification.
